๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Key Responsibilities-

Static Equipment Design Engineerย 

  • Design and analyze pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and storage tanks as per ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, and API 610.

  • Prepare design calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings using PV Elite and TEKLA.

  • Conduct thermal design and rating of heat exchangers using HTRI.

  • Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and structural simulations in ANSYS.

  • Develop material specifications, data sheets, and technical documentation.

  • Collaborate with procurement, QA/QC, fabrication, and client teams for technical clarifications.

  • Ensure all designs comply with project specs, international codes, and safety standards.

  • Review vendor documents and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies.

  • Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting.


๐ŸŽ“ Required Qualifications & Skills

  • B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 5โ€“7 years of experience in static equipment design.

  • Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, API 610, and relevant standards.

  • Proficient in PV Elite, TEKLA, HTRI, and ANSYS (Static Structural/FEA).

  • Solid understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and welding codes.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.

  • Experience in international oil & gas, petrochemical, or power projects.

  • Hands-on with finite element methods and complex stress analysis.

  • Familiarity with PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling tools.

  • Strong project management and time management skills.
