Weโre looking for a talented and experienced Static Equipment Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team in Pune.
If you have hands-on experience in designing pressure vessels, heat exchangers, columns, and structural supports, and are well-versed with ASME, API, and international standards, this is the perfect opportunity to advance your career.
๐ ๏ธ Key Responsibilities-
Static Equipment Design Engineerย
-
Design and analyze pressure vessels, heat exchangers, reactors, columns, and storage tanks as per ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, and API 610.

Prepare design calculations, GA drawings, and fabrication drawings using PV Elite and TEKLA.

Conduct thermal design and rating of heat exchangers using HTRI.

Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and structural simulations in ANSYS.

Develop material specifications, data sheets, and technical documentation.

Collaborate with procurement, QA/QC, fabrication, and client teams for technical clarifications.

Ensure all designs comply with project specs, international codes, and safety standards.

Review vendor documents and coordinate with third-party inspection agencies.

Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
๐ Required Qualifications & Skills
-
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

5โ7 years of experience in static equipment design.
-
Strong knowledge of ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2, API 610, and relevant standards.

Proficient in PV Elite, TEKLA, HTRI, and ANSYS (Static Structural/FEA).

Solid understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and welding codes.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
๐ก Preferred Qualifications

Experience in international oil & gas, petrochemical, or power projects.

Hands-on with finite element methods and complex stress analysis.

Familiarity with PDMS/E3D, AutoCAD, or other 3D modeling tools.

Strong project management and time management skills.
