Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer – Machining & Heat Treatment with 20–25 years of expertise in various machining processes and heat treatment operations for castings and forgings.

The ideal candidate must have deep technical knowledge of machining sequences, process optimization, and heat treatment techniques such as carburising, nitriding, and other thermal processes. This is a senior-level role requiring strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and hands-on manufacturing experience.

Key Responsibilities

🔧 Machining Process Expertise Hiring

• Develop and optimize machining processes for castings and forgings

• Define machining sequences, cycle time optimization, and tooling selection

• Establish process parameters for CNC and conventional machining

• Improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency

• Conduct root cause analysis for machining defects

• Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives

Heat Treatment Knowledge

• Expertise in heat treatment processes including:

  • Carburising

  • Nitriding

  • Induction hardening

  • Normalizing

  • Annealing

  • Tempering

• Develop and monitor heat treatment specifications

• Ensure metallurgical properties meet customer and industry standards

• Coordinate with quality and production teams for process validation

Process & Quality Control

• Prepare and maintain process documentation and SOPs

• Lead process capability studies and validation trials

• Support audits and compliance requirements

• Work closely with design, quality, and production departments

Leadership & Strategy

• Mentor junior engineers and production teams

• Drive manufacturing excellence and technical improvements

• Participate in capacity planning and new product development

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of machining processes for castings and forgings

Educational Qualification
