Design Engineer – Khed Shivapur

Experience – 5 to 8 years in relevant field

Location – Khed Shivapur 

Qualification – BE / ME (Mechanical, Production), Diploma in Mechanical and
Production can also be opted with experience.

• Hands on experience of using 3D designing softwares and Autocad.

• Experience of designing industry-specific products, Material handling systems,
  SPMs

• Conceptualise material handling solutions and Grippers.
• Design the material handling equipment using 3D design softwares and 2D
  softwares.
• Make detailed part drawings of the designed system.
• Make 2 D layouts along with simulation for the material handling equipment
  designed.
• Make calculations using Strength of material fundamentals and using softwares.
• Select appropriate bought out components and pneumatic components from
  Festo, SMC etc.
• Make detailed part drawings, showing dimensional tolerances and geometrical
  tolerances. Specify surface finish, heat treatment etc.
• Creat error free Bill of material with regards to item numbers and quantities.
• Make necessary entries in ERP.
• Discuss in detail with the design manager and get involved in customer
  discussion for the approval process, make the MOM and implement suggestions
  of the customer.
• Provide support to assembly team as necessary.
